Marie Louise Bonier (b. Jan. 4, 1867 in Waterford section of North Smithfield, d. March 21, 1927 in Woonsocket)
Organized a group of women later called Cercle Marie Louise. Helped the Red Cross and performed other community
activities. Charter member of Woonsocket Girl Scout organization and was on the Board of Directors of the
Woonsocket Day Nursery. Authored "Debuts de la colonie Franco-Americaine de Woonsocket, R.I." in 1920, a
French history of the city.
