TM 139 c. 1900 Lawton Spinning Company on Winter Street. Established in 1899. Had over 600 employees by 1910. At its peak, this mill employed over 1,000 and had 125,000 spindles in operation. Last of the large cotton mills in Woonsocket. Liquidated in 1935.
