CL 30 1980's Roger N. Begin. (b. 1952 in Woonsocket). Political leader and Banker. Served from 1973 to 1984 in the RI House of Representatives; was elected General Treasurer from 1985 to 1988 and Lieutenant Governor from 1989 to 1992. Was among the youngest ever elected to state office.
