CL 7 c. 1900 Charles S. Lawton (b.1859 in Massachusetts, d. 1926 in Woonsocket). City engineer and photographer. His photographs including general views, construction and public works projects, events, and so forth have served as the basis of many historical publications. The collection is stored at the McFee Library at Woonsocket High School. Frequently his initials (CSL) are found on the negative or print.
