Congregation B'nai Israel synagogue on Prospect Street, dedicated September 16, 1962. Synagogue was
previously at Greene and Bernon Streets since 1904, the former Presbyterian church. Twelve large, triangular
stained-glass windows depicting various phases of Jewish history dominate the design. Harry Ramsey designed the
building.
