TM 32 1838 Location of the Globe Mill off Front Street near Woonsocket Falls. Erected in 1827 on the six acre Globe Estate on the Smithfield side of the Blackstone River. First mill was a 3-story cotton mill. This 1838 map shows the general location of the mill and adjoining homes.
