TM 17 1890 Sketch of the Nourse Mill on Clinton Street. Established April 16, 1882. Named after Charles Nourse, who was Superintendent of the Social Mill. Cotton manufacturing. Later became Woonsocket Rayon Company. Manville- Jenckes Corporation eventually owned the Social, Nourse, and Globe mills, among others.
